Apple ID disabled?
« on: 09 January 2012, 19:02 »
Just tried to download an App on my iphone and got the following message...

"This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons. Tap Reset to reset your account." then 2 buttons "Cancel" & "Reset".

Now my question is has anyone else had this? Did you do just as it said? Were there any issues?

I've not had this before so just a bit sceptical. I have downloaded a load of updates all at once recently (approx 30) so could his maybe have flagged up a high usage?

Cheers.

If it needs to be reset good luck waiting for the reset email from Apple :lipsrsealed:

If you have added a new device to your Apple ID account it will require you to re-validate your account by confirming your security CVS code.

Nope. It seems hat Apple may have changed their password requirements and my old password didn't meet them?!? Sorted now (i think).
