Just reading this makes me think we could start up a thing where people collect bits for other peeps if theyre passing.

Like on Club80-90 they have the 80-90 express!

It wouldn't be a bad shout tbh. The only problem is trusting people, and trust is something that nowadays is hard to achieve.

well here is an idea.

look at forum map

find person local , trustworthy

ask them to go view, if they likey, they lighty.

once they lighty, you do bank transfer to them, they pay the man cash

simples.

I'm thinking A34 to avoid motorway chaos and shorten the mileage.
I'd make you right on that.
If you go on the M1 there's a few average speed sections, there's a big one from J10 to J13 IIRC which you'd go straight through.
Plus motorway driving is tedious.

personally i'd be pissed if i drove 160 miles and the goods were no good. make sure everything is exactly as described before setting off.

Yup, me too, hence why I've confirmed with the seller everything that's included in the sale. He's sold it as ready to run, so if I get there and there's stuff missing/broken I'll be walking away and most likely putting a brick through his window.
