I fitted mine the other week, such a nice interior upgrade, cant get around why they never came with them from factory. I just spliced into the ciggarette ring that illuminates as the leds dont require much power and its the easiest/closest thing to tap into.

His vents dont have the bulbs and wires on the actual vent  :wink:

this is correct rich is it possible to retro fit the bulbs to my vents

if they don't have LEDs in there it's easy enough to sort, I had to do mine as they were from a very late Bora

Let me know if you need any help (bar making the looms, I don't have time anymore :sad:)

wazzer just the man i am looking for is it easy enough to retro fit the bulbs to my vents ie where would the bulbs go and how would you fit them in  :smiley:

You need to popthe fronts off carefully then you'll see a clip behind where the icon is ready for the LEDs. I think I bought 5mm red superbright LEDs from maplin and they were perfect. Then you jest need to solder the wires to some terminals and fit them to a plug. There are also some guides inside the casing of the vents to stop the wires snagging when you operate the open/closing mechanism

whats the point in them making the vents with all the correct parts for the lighting, and not fitting the lighting. just seems stupid to me
