The physical addiction is nothing, the mental addiction is very strong.
Chuff, why did you start again after so long?

I don't know if it's anything like me but there must be a switch in my brain. Can go for months, years even without thinking about smoking and one day, 'click' I'll start up again.

Oddly my brain does the same with stopping, 'click' and I have no desire to smoke again.

It's really odd, and why cigs are so insidious.

i'm on e-lites, have been since end of november, just went straight over no problems. I used to smoke menthol roll ups and thought theres no way its going to match it and have to say the menthol e-lite is the best of them all.
I never wanted to quit smoking as suuch but thought if I could still  do everything a fag would give me without all the crap in them then i'll give it a go.
havn't touchhed a roll up since.

I'm almost 4 weeks without a fag now. I'd tried a few times before, given up for a few months at a time twice and both using patches. I also tried the Champix tablets, but all I can think is that I had no real desire to quit that time as I didn't even cut down on them. They didn't stop the cravings, and didn't make smoking taste/feel any different. I find patches make smoking really harsh, so I went on them for just a week, and have been using the electric ones ever since. I'm kinda getting addicted to them though tbh, cos I still get real harsh cravings, and the electric ones just make it go away for half an hour like a real fag!
