Gt tdi tuning options

Hi all I'm thinking of getting a mk4 and letting the wife keep the mk3 ;-) but I'm thinking if I don't get a GTI 1.8t I want a GT TDI but what options are there in regards to tuning potential, remap/chip induction kit? Intercooler? Turbo upgrade? Dump valve? I'm not to sure on diesel tuning so any help would be great

the diesel can be tuned similar to the 1.8t i.e better turbo,better clutch,brakes but unless ur doing loads of miles go for 1.8t
or buy 1 already done

Cool thanks, just testing the waters with a diesel really but I will probably end up with a 1.8t, which engine is the one to go for tho I keep seeing people using stuff like aug etc..??

go for the newest 1 u can afford aug engine code was used up till 2000 i think

agu will have ko3 turbo,aum ko3s an auq has ko3s
has the car your looking at got 6 speed box

if its a 2002 will either be an aum or auq engine code both have ko3s turbo 
but some later 2002s came with 6speed box
