Thanks. Got it for £700 so was a bargain. Is actually my dads but he doesn't use it so I've taken over lol

The irony is dad only got it was because it was a 5door  :grin:

It was free so only paying just over £650 for insurance and petrol so sounds cheap to me  :cool: cheapest I found mk4 insurance was 1200  :cry:

Cheers guys. Just gotta get her back from garage, something wrong with the climatronic  :rolleyes:

Keeping my eye out on a nice mk2 1.8T  :cool: or a mk5 Gti.

On one hand I want dsg and something newer hence the mk5, on the other hand I reallllllllly want a mk2  :grin: always said I wanted to own one :cool:

Being auto it's not as quick to accelerate. But being lighter and about 15-20more horses I would say its slightly quicker  :cool:

Would like to make it quicker but don't want to spends £1000s  :sad:
