massive overfueling issue

hi has any1 come accross an overfueling problem that absolutly fills the combustion chamber on a 8v gti there for giving it a hydrolic lock and making it unable to turn over.
was thinking could b a problem with whateva it is that turns the fuel pump off when u first turn the ignition on but not sure what it is, any ideas?

Is it a Digi if so yes blown ecu caused by a failed / broken earth strap.

if it's a Digi, check your fuel pressure regulator, mounted on the end of the fuel rail. If the diaphragm fails, return fuel redirects through the top port (vacuum line) to the throttle body, filling up the intake and cylinders.
