Funny what different opinions you get from people isn't it?

Looking at Thoms motor(which is real Beaut i love it) i would have thought he would have been the 1st to say replace it

My view always used to be keep what you have got and have it put right as then you know what you've got

No one messing with your electrics this way either as you can get away with spraying it still on the car, i think you can just open a can of worms replacing it, not thats its hard or that i will be doing it  but must admit now completely unsure what to do :undecided:

1st i am going to call in to the bdy shop and see he wants to do me a right proper job on it, then i will decide waht to do, how much would you expect for this doing £120, not had anything painted for along time :smug:

Thanks

Walchy

Thats cos he paints....

I don't see why you would worry about the wiring as I always take them out properly by unplugging them from behind the C pillar.... Only takes an extra 5 mins to do it!!

As for money I bet its MUCH cheaper to just get one painted than to pay the guy to fabricate bits to fit, weld, fill and then paint.... These guys don't work for nought...

Thats why to me it's a no brainer!!

AAAHHH thats why his looks so sweet all the time :smug:

Take your point ken, lets see what the paintshop wants for 1. sorting current out and 2. painting a solid one up...

Then i will see...

Took the plastic fitting off the tailgate today and was suprised at how good it was, just a little rusty aroung number plate light  as i want it right i am going to have this top bloke sort it,replace rear window so the de mister works  and while he's at it i'm gunna get  him to tidy up the panel below the boot too

Just waiting on his price which i know will be great , so hopefully will be all minted up for summer

Just gotta wait till next month before i have it done as i have only 4 miles left on my limited mileage policy for the year

new policy at start of Feb so another 1500 miles of cheap motoring
