water leak

Hello, had a quick search but answers were inconclusive....

My friend has a leak in both his front and back driver side footwells. And by a leak I mean puddles! Is this known to happen and if so what is the likely issue??

Oh dear then... Was leaning towards the heating matrix but really dont think it is...

Oh well, will help him investigate!

ive seen botched windscreen replacements but usually when this happens the gateway control unit and onboard power supply control units get water damaged
