right to all those who fall into the catagorey above, with all your shiney twinkley betis and fancey rubbery bits etc, hows about a nice clear perspex bonnet to show off what your running when your at shows/racing etc,
As soon as i get my hands on a new mk2 16v project ill be knocking up a prototype, (which will be a hell of a lot lighter than the standard mk2 bonnet!), these fir fit to your original hinges, but you will need some 'rally' style bonnet clips fitting to the front to hold it down if you intend to race/use on road etc, unless i can make some kind of knuckle to fit into the existing bonnet stay.
should have one made in a week or 2 once ive got and started to strip/lighten the car, so watch this space, will also be able to make for mk1's , but i might need to borrow some ones bonnets for a size up, unless i can get my hands on the correct heat bending stuff mk3/4/5's are a no go at the mo but you never know....
oh yeah prices, £45 ish (yet to be decided) plus p+p
