ok, ive got started on this, and got stuck :D after much strugle getting the bolts out that were very rusted, i started to drop the axle, but can only get it to drop about an inch, i think i see the problem, but havent any idea how to sort it so any help welcomed.

this shows how far im able to drop the axle.

what i think it is is this...
what looks like a break line, however i see no way to unclip it? ive uncliped the one that runs under the axle bush, but i think this line is stoping me droping it further, any idea of how to unclip it???

cheers

Hmm cant remember from when i did mine, but i ended up taking the rear beam off altogether!

I needed to press my bushes in anyway (polybush) and upgraded all my brake lines to braided at the same time.

already read that mate, ive done exactly what its got written in there but cant seem to get it to drop more than an inch. think its because of the line in the background of the pics i posted... though cant see anyway to unclip that  :undecided:

Don't think the metal ones can be unclipped but the rubber ones can, im pretty sure if you leave the rear beam on, you wont completely clear the mounting so you wont be able to see clearly through the mounting.

Its for this reason i removed the rear beam!

Best of luck  :lipsrsealed:

if you're leaving the beam on you have to unbolt them really
