mk5 drivers door not locking on R/C/L but dose with key?

New to the site and just got my first golf its a mk5, one thing ive noticed is the drivers door dosnt lock on the remote central locking but its dose lock no problem when you just put the key in, before i start 2 pull things apart i thought someone on here is maby able to tell me what the problem is?

It may simply be a coding error if someone has goofed about with it before you got it.

Does it open okay using the remote key?

dosnt open or lock on the remote key has 2 be done manualy, ther also isnt any noises coming from the door when pressing the bottons

Battery could be low on the remote.
You could try recalibrating the remote. Stick the key in the door lock and open, at the same time hold in the open button on the remote ( if I remember right).

Is it just the drivers door lock not operating? But the others do ok from remote? As it could be faulty door lock module

yeh just drivers door other 3 doors are 100% someone else said that has anyone a part number or link to where i could buy this part
