never took 1 off, cant you cover it with a vw sticker  :smiley:

its raised on the vw logo though, don't think a sticker would work very well

was just wondering what would happen if I tried to lever it off with a screwdriver? heat probably isn't the best idea if its glued due to the explosives behind it  :grin:

I could just mask it off and spray it black

I believe it cant be replaced, You need to buy a new airbag unit.
But you can get stickers which fit
