yup sure will

i installed one into my 06 GTI and it worked fine but drained the battery completely over a period of about 4 days (there is some incompatability issue which means it draws a current even when switched off).  it came out and an RCD 500 went in as I couldn't be arsed with the extra expense and hassle of the canbus upgrade.

I did this and ran in to many problems. You first need an adaptor cable (Ebay £20) so the cables will fit.

Then you have the power drain problem. I am using a JOSI version (2720) which does not have power drain issues
If you have MFSW you will need to turn BAP on for all of them to work

Worth the hassle in the long run as I am very happy now......

Good luck....

I went from the RCD500 to the RNS510 in my 56 plate and I had to change the canbus. The guy I bought the RNS510 off changed my canbus for me (I had bought the canbus of the bay for about £60).

Also if you remove the plastic connectors from the aerials you dont need the adaptor.

I have to say the upgrade is well worth it, brilliant bit of kit.
