Part number - Straight exhaust
« on: 22 December 2011, 14:31 »
Anyone know what the stock part number is for the twin exhuast that pokes  out (4mo???), just after the backbox, not the twin R32 setup. Had a quick look on vag cat can only find the discreet hidden exhausts. Also has anyone got a rough price?

Also would these fit directly onto the 1.8T stock setup?

Thanks, any idea if it will fit directly to the 1.8T system as I'm helping a mate, would be cool if it also fits a 1.8T like mine, the silencer route looks like it follows a different route to the 1.8T somewhat, but it can easily be chopped and sleaved on providing the diameter is the same :)

Doubt it as the 4mo has a different floor pan. That silencer wouldn't fit.

Any recommendations for me as I passed the 4mo exhaust part to my mate.

I got mid silencer removed, will have a decat on the way. I just want a twin exhaust sticking out but I don't like the idea of a performance backbox with a decat and mid silencer removed, for the sake off to much noise. What can you recommend.

Anniversary backbox (single pipe)?

No mk4 come with twin exit rears apart from the 4mo which has a different floor pan.

Only aftermarket would fit IMHO.
