« on: 22 December 2011, 08:29 »
hi guys i snapped mine getting my seized audi wheels off when putting 19" lm reps on, can these be bought on there own or do thay come with new discs or a fitting kit as right pain trying to line up wheels when putting them on , audi wheels were seized good and proper nobody used copper slip on them sadly and trying to lift up the bbs's is a nightmare as im very weak at the moment, i found this which i think will help me out a lot aswell though and only £7.99.

i know with past cars ive bought ive had to buy a fitting kit with shims, clips, the lot but if can be bought on its own happy days, just a way of stealers getting more money i suppose as a screw is going to be pennys.

sorry wasnt a dig its just some parts are so bloody high for what thay are its a joke, ive also bought some very good patern parts that have lasted well also on my cars, might buy 4 screws and replace all of them if only cheap cant go in the dealers for just one screw the last of the big spenders hey. pmsl

These snap all the time, luckily they are cheaper than a hooker in chatam for just the screws.

They even break on 1.0L polo's so hardly a surprise on something more powerful, they are not needed as they are there to help you line up as there sole purpose.

just leave it off, not as if you need it, just makes fitting of wheels easier

might just buy this and be done with it to help me and when i change discs just order some new screws as im really struggling with weight of wheels as not in best health and a bugger to lign up, and i want to put some spacers on aswell so will be even harder then.
