Are diesels now going to require a cat to pass now?!

I must be being blind but I can't see any reference to that in the regs? 

I'm looking under Section 7.4 by the way.....

I f**king hate the thingys who have standard headlights and HIDs. The term "I'm alright jack" comes to mind. They might be able to see better but the people driving towards them cant see a fecking thing.

not all of us have 12000k wit incorrect bulb positioning,
i for one have 6k with anti glare bulbs

Even 6000k is too bright I have found out. Could you explain how these anti glare bulbs work? 

6K  give out the most light, anything over 6K is actually duller just more blue.
and the anti glare bulbs work by having small directional cover things on them so they dont shine in the same way.

when I bought the car it was permanently on untill I disconnected the battery to put a new battery on then the light didn't come on at Allan's hasn't since (2 years)

Never been blinded by a car fitted with standard fit HIDs only the stupid aftermarket kits.

If you want HIDs buy a car that comes with them standard from the factory !!

In Section 7.1, on the first page, third column, it states:

Reason for Rejection

- A catalytic converter missing where one was fitted as standard

Has this always been incorporated into the guidelines?

Don't worry rhys, our motors were not fitted with a catalytic converter just yours has a silly DPF 

Aftermarket exhausts will also fail 

A silencer in such condition, or of such a type,
that the noise emitted from the vehicle is clearly
unreasonably above the level expected from a
similar vehicle with a standard silencer in
average condition.
