Please test an MPS before buying the turd of a car that is the ST.

Quickest hot hatch (bar the RS) out there in standard trim. A few £100 for a reliable 300bhp+ and more torque than most cars out there. Nice 2.3 engine, good spec (Bose etc) and hugely reliable!

2.3 litre, 4 cylinder turbo
Underestimated cars. As R32UK said comes fully loaded as standard and wont break
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

From rolling it will be quicker than any VAG car in standard trim, including mine.

It's the original engine of the ST (pre-bored) but its much stronger because of that!

Genuine question, explain leasing a car to me? How does it work out? So many mates are regretting it a few months down the line...  :undecided:

Where all my moneys went.

Golf MK3 1.6. Golf MK3 8v GTI.

What about the Cupra R/ Scirocco R? Because I know that both of these cars are quicker from a rolling start than the Golf R/ S3 Counterparts.

Is this question aimed at me?

I know this is off topic, but that really has not relevance to the topic at all

I doubt there would be much in it tbh, the R and S3 only lose out slightly due to AWD losses. The MPS offers alot of bang once you are rolling and into 3rd onwards.

I took 2 firends out in it and asked them to compare what they thought to the remapped GTI, In their words the mazda was brutal... and would of left the GTI for dead. As the driver I know the GTI was putting out 265bhp bang on and felt it would have been much tighter.
