You have really not looked into this  :lipsrsealed:

The RS is a massively re-worked lump. It really is very very different! The bore liners go on the St engine over 300bhp. Lots and lots of threads about it on the owners site. Was looking at them myself and got put off.

The 2.0 tfsi won engine of the year 3 years running and will see over 400bhp with ease before any strengthening is required. They are slow compared to most cars. Its a heavy car with not much bhp for the engine size. 2.5 litres and thats it

Have to agree with all of this.. the ford/volvo lump is way down the pecking order in terms of performance/economy/reliability and the fact it makes the focus very nose heavy.

The 2.0 in the S3 and ED30  is far superior.

p.s. there is probably a very good reasson everyone in your area is driving a R32

Im not sure how hard you can be sat in a car  :undecided:

Back to the fact its a much better car than the focus.. Although if they are that common I can see why you wouldnt want one. I would take an MPS for a spin, you may be surprised. Its worth getting over the focus just because of the better driving position if anything.
