Blue Temp Sensor
« on: 18 December 2011, 17:19 »
I was thinking I would replace the 21 year old blue temp sender on my '90 8v digi.

They mainly seem to be around the £25 range. But I found this on ebay -
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-80-100-A4-A6-COOLANT-TEMPERATURE-SENDER-SWITCH-025906041A-BRAND-NEW-/170726614096?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27c0196450#ht_618wt_905

It has the same part number (025906041A) as the VW one - but he only lists it as an Audi part. Would this work with VW too?

Logically I would assume the answer to be yes being VAG, but I thought I would check.  :undecided:

Better to pay the extra and get a genuine one.
