hello everyone new vr6 owner

hey guys, just bought my first golf. mk3 vr6 only thing is i have no manuals or paperwork for it. and dont know much what has been done to it. apart from coilovers scorpion exhaust and air filter. the guy i bought it off had no idea of anything about it. dont even know the year yet as he cant find the logbook. how can i find out the colour as there is no sticker in the spare wheel well vw jersey are not very helpful put the plate through and told me it was a 2010 merc?. 72,000 miles

See this car near First tower school, is that where you are?

I knew two of the previous owners. Apparantly it's chiped and was going to be setup to run a turbo, but not sure what else was done. I know the two that owned it were entusiasts so sould have been well looked after. I think it has Keskin alloys on it too.

cheeers mate. seen your project pics and it looks tidy... yeah thats me gaf at first tower. spoke to the two boys that had it before the guy i got it from and found out a few things. ben had a turbo to put in it but the guy i got it from said he didnt want it so it then got sold so might look in to getting one when i have the funds. dont know what chip it was tho or what sort of hp it is. not running that smoothly at the moment gonna have the engine looked at revs go up and down in idle app its the coil pack but as its xmas im skint so not much i can do at the moment. know any vr6 pros over her? do u do all the work yourself?
