Overall ride height ?
« on: 17 December 2011, 23:10 »
Sourced a set of Boge turbos with 50mm lowering springs for an 8v Gti.

Plans on putting these on a 16v

Will it be too low due to difference in weight of the two engines?

Am a mature driver and dont want anything crashy. Am thinking will prob have to bin the springs?

They will be fine, not much difference in weight between the 2 engines.

Be alright, Who are the springs made by?  Generally Boge shocks are very good, I rate them.

minus 50mm on a 8V should equate to minus 40mm on a valver...

So shouldn't be too low - as to crashy it will depend on the springs that you fitting...
