Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them and if so are they usually any good? I ordered 2 new sills for my mk3 golf, 3 cans of primer and 3 cans of high heat resistant paint over 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for it to turn up, they say order before 12:00 and they should deliver next day, but elsewhere it says paint has to be sent by a special courier and so does anything that can be damaged easily and to allow 4/6 days. I've emailed them a few times over the last few days and still haven't had a response from them. I thought I'd give them a try as sills are only £24 for the pair from them and the cheapest I can get them for round my way is £40 each but now it's starting to look like I've lost my money.

With a note on the homepage that says:

Due to a technical issue we are unable to process online orders at this time. If you would like to place an order please call us and we will take your order over the phone.

Wait for the remaining days in the 30 day period stated in their terms and then contact your credit card company if you haven't received anything.

Obviously you *have* picked up the phone to their 0845 number to discuss your issue, instead of just bleating about it on a car forum, haven't you?

There wasn't anything about technical issues when I ordered and their 0845 number isn't worth a sugar frosted f**k and seeing as I only have a mobile I can't afford to keep calling it to try and talk to someone when I'm charged a £1.50 connection charge and 45p per minute, as a few weeks ago I was laid off but my boss forgot to tell me until I got back from taking my girlfriend on holiday for her birthday and spending most the money I had on her, also I can't claim jobseekers so have no income at all, so a sky high phone bill is the last thing I need, so I'm sorry if you think I was just "bleating" but I was simply asking if anyone had used them and if they were normally like this or if they had just messed my order up, but I'm sorry if I dare offend you by talking about it in the off topic section, I thought people could talk about anything in this section. I joined this forum as I bought a golf and will need help with problems and to find local meets/events and generally join in with everyone else on here, reading through old threads I have come across posts saying you are the god of all things vw, so when I post questions about the car on here and if I'm lucky enough to have someone knowledgeable like you help, then I hope that there will be less criticism and sarcasm, as I can get that anytime I want, it's friendly helpful people that are hard to find.

This is unlikely.  Look to the top of the page.

Find someone with a landline and call them.  Unless you call them you're not going to get anywhere and you won't have tried so the case for money back will be weak.

All my mates have only got mobiles as well. I think I'll have to try and find a payphone. Don't even know if they'll be any help as if it's a delivery problem they say to email. I'll write to them as well.

What the hell is a pay phone?
How can people have a mobile but not a landline?!

A pay phone is big red box with glass in it that is there for kids to smash and vandalise.  they are few and far between now and the ones that are still about never ever work.

As for having a mobile and no landline it's cheaper for me to just have a mobile as long as I'm not calling 0845 or 0800 numbers as I am renting just a room so would have to pay for another phoneline to be installed. and no I'm not allowed to use the house phone.

that would be a stupid thing for my landlady to let me do, even though I saved her over £100 per month on her phone and internet bill and she can call 0845 numbers for free!
