Companies going into administration
« on: 15 December 2011, 09:18 »
Paid for some boots for my other half on 7th December, received an email saying they had been dispatched, the next day the company goes into administration 8/12/11 and I received an email yesterday saying 'we are experiencing delays due to the high volume of orders', I paid by paypal so have escalated a claim hoping I can get my money back through them.

Am I likely to receive any £££ or the goods?

Chances are you will get them, as a company has to honour orders regardless of current situation iirc.

The administrators will be looking at getting as much stock as possible sold on to recoup some losses so I would hold tight for the time being.

I'm holding on tight, if they turn up I can cancel the Paypal dispute. Should've used the credit card. Hopefully they'll come in the next few days, well before xmas would be nice.
