Polybushing rear axle.
« on: 14 December 2011, 23:37 »
Anyone polybushed the rear axle on a mk4?

Are the benefits worth it?

How much different did the car feel afterwards?  Any improvements in handling?  Stiffer back end with less rolling?  etc etc

Cheers.  Getting them in and out is the easy part.  I just want to know if they worth £90

Well, for me they were/are!

It's tightened up the rear end nicely, it's not harsh, nor are there any noises. I also fitted a rear arb so it's hard to say exactly how good they are.

I've heard negative things about the one piece powerflex bushes though.

Superpro get the thumbs up from me anyway!

I got them for £80 delivered by the way

Haha, you said it!

I got them from Awesome! I did a price beater thing from another site, they were listed as Fabia ones or something (just googled the superpro part number) sent it to awesome who then beat it.

They were the last ones they had at the time but sure try would have ordered some more by now.

Quite possibly!

I wanted to order from awesome though as I know they dispatch items quickly (arrived next day) and had all my details already so made life easier. Drop them a message and they'll beat it anyway....
