A newbie to the forum but not the VW scene, having previously owned a Golf Mk3, modded Polo 6N and Golf Mk4 1.4...
After a couple of BMWs and a 600 cc motorbike, I decided it was time to return to the VAG group and have just bought myself a cracking Mk4 Gti 1.8T (180 bhp)...which I am hoping will scratch my itch for the next year or so...
I bought the car from a family of Golf enthusiasts and it has had a Revo remap and is seriously quick - the previous owner has down some tasteful mods which are a credit to the car...keeping the power on the road is proving challenging as the wheels spin right through to 3rd gear!
I am thinking of changing the exhaust to an anniversary style and the previous owner suggested a Miltek S/S Cat Back system....
Would you guys agree that this is the best choice? Also, what are your views on resonatated vs. non resonated? Any advice on where to buy from and prices etc? P.S. I live in West London
