same problem again
« on: 14 December 2011, 10:43 »
when i turn the key to the first position, im getting a clicking noise from behind my dash with the lights flickering

since the last time i had this problem, ive changed the fuel filter, fuel relay, therrmostat, crank sensor, maf sensor, ecu and put a cover over it

i know it to be the fuel relay, but this has since been changed, as well as everything above, all problems went away, but now its back again, could it be the coldness? i know water isnt in the ecu again as its a new ecu and got a cover over it

help!!

cheers

Take the Fuel pump relay out see if it stops  No idea why it would go again though  :undecided:

i also forgot to mention as i was in a rush this morning, the screen wipers are going slow (probably not related) and occasionally whilst driving, ill get a click from behind the dash, followed by exhaust creating a loud 'pop'

Wipers = linkage seized get it freed up or replaced before it burns out the motor

Pop is normal if you are running SS exhaust and or sports cat / decat

thanks for the replies

weve check the battery and it seems to be fine, despite it dying sometimes :/

as fort the pop, i get alot of related popping from the exhaust due to decat and SS from the de-cat with no middlebox

although the pop i mentioned is straight after the click from behind the dash, being the fuel relay

what a boggle...
