All joking aside, that one DOES work. If i'm walking away in a car park, i'll often stick the fob on my chin and push the button. Works much further away

I used to do that every time I came out of work, because the range on the fob for the MK2 was rubbish! Makes the range much better! Remember that was on top gear with jeremy and his merc, quite funny!

Did you notice how the camera angle would change when he put it to his head? its utter bollox

I didn't mate, worked when I tried so didn't scrutinise. I'm still not over the day I found out it was scripted tbh, so I try to pretend Top Gear is as perfect as I thought it was at first......don't burst the bubble...

people might say the whole put the remote to your head thing is rubish. but today i was walking away from my car, was about 5 or 10 metres away (remote only normally works about 1 or 2 metres away) and i was pressing the button to lock it cause ide forgot to, wouldnt lock, then i tried with it to my head for a laugh and it actually worked

No coincidence, I did it pretty much every day occasionally trying without putting it to my head, then putting it to my head, and it always worked.
