WONDER IF THIS WORKS
« on: 13 December 2011, 19:55 »
i read this earlier

Bloke at work today locked his keys in the car and if I had not seen this trick with my own eyes I would not have believed it. Someone asked him if he had a spare key with a remote fob at home, when he said yes he told him to phone his wife while standing next to his car and get her to point the fob down the phone 30 miles away and the car opened.

So far we have tried it with a Renault, a peugot and a Vauxhall to test it out to see if it was a fluke but it worked everytime so why not try it with your car car and post if it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So you want us to drive 30 miles away from where the second key is kept, then ring whoever has the second key and get them to press the button to unlock the car. Just to see if this works.

You crazy.

there are ways to unlock a car with some phones,  but you need to seriousy twerk the firmware in std guise phones mic won't pickup RF signals to they can be twerked to make them into an RF transiver that'll read, record and transmit signals to cars but they don't work as a phone anymore
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

The great paragraph spacing here tells me this is a copy and paste post.

That, and what you're saying is utter bollocks. Seriously, has anyone anywhere ever fallen for this? If so, they deserve to be locked out of their car. The other question being of course, how do you lock the keys in the car if you only have one set?

Interesting fact:

If you're really cold you should shït your pants a tiny bit (just enough to touch cloth) and you'll feel warm straight away.

automatic lock after a certain time, left keys in car and connected a battery charger when the batteries died and its locked the car
