Have my baby a little over 2 months now and from the off i noticed a funny whining noise when the fans are running (this happens when the heater fans been runing for a few minutes).
So i went to my local stealers, went out on the road with a tech guy and they said, its the fan. i thought it was a bit strange as when i turn the fan off its quite apparent the sound isnot from the spinning fan (you can tell a mile of its something else!) anyway, drop my car off to the local stealers got it back the same day and was told the fan was replaced but they couldn't hear or find any faults.
turn on the car and wow the fan was spinning like a dream and no whining noise in sight,
take the 1st left and you guessed it the dreaded noise had returned.
after some back and forth and to cut a long story very short. the fault has been put done to a failing compressor pump. have been told i need a full flush out and the pump replaced. they will need to removed the front pumper slam pan ect to get to the area...... so my question is. what sort of price sohould i be hearign for this work?
