looking good mate,

still think you should get some gloss black on those wheels,

abit of tint on the rear and side indicators, will look menacing   :smug:

I had thought about the wheels, but as theyre only 15", and have very good 205/50s on them, I think they would look a bit pants. If I had lower profile tyres on em, it may not look so bad. I cant justify forking out for a full set atm though as they have about 6-7 mm tread on em. Possibly a new set of rims in gloss black in the future, as these ones could do with a refirb so will just end up being my winters. I will get some tint on lights too in the summer, just need to sort some of the more pressing issues first.

Slowly mate. Next up is the intermittent oil pressure alarm.

Pressure is fine, has been checked twice and its good. Changed the white sensor, now need to change the brown one, but I think its wiring related. Was gonna inspect the pump for peace of mind, but couldnt get to the two bolts on the sump at the gearbox end. It could be fine for a week, then start for about 30 seconds, then go off, then on for a split second, then be fine if I switch off and restart the engine. Just really frickin annoying beeping as its loud as feck! Oh and I need some foam for the horn.  The contacts are constantly touching since I had the steering wheel off, so I've had to disconnect it for now. Just need to seperate them with the foam by a couple of mm until pressed. Then what I think could amount to an almost full set of bushes by the looks of it for MOT in March. Its weird cos ARB, droplinks, front and rear subframe bushes were all done in 2008 with superpro one used, but they look shagged now. Oh well, I'll be much happier with a years ticket.

No regrets mate, I love it tbh. It doesnt love me back as much no doubt, and it breaks my heart when she starts getting all hormonal!  Kinda like the missus I suppose, and both keep hinting toward getting rid of the other!  Took it for a little drive earlier after giving the exhaust sealant a bit of time to dry. Took it easy though so as not to blow it out, and it felt so much smoother.  Not very noisy at all now though, so think I'll have to get a straight through to remove the centre silencer.  Its when its driving well like this which makes me realise how much I love this car.  :smug:
