Yeah it worked! Had to connect a second battery though with jump leads, and it just caught! Went out early for work obviously just in case I had to order a cab, so took it the long way round to work. Started fine a couple of hours later, so I measured voltage then. Alternator is only supplying 13.4v on and off load, so it's obviously on it's way down. It's ok for a couple of weeks at a time it seems, so it must be giving a little back, but not enough to keep it fully charged as it should. Will have to pop down the dub shack asap to see if I can get one. At least I can can give it a polish before it goes on then!  :smiley:

Yeah hopefully, getting one from a member on the corrado forum as dan at the dubshack didn't have any in. Did oil, filter and plugs this afternoon. Couldn't drop the sump though as I couldn't get to the 2 bolts on the gearbox side.  :rolleyes: was running out of time too so had to give up in the end. Picture fail as I was in such a rush to get back and pick my daughter up from school, I didn't stop to take any. Plugs looked pretty shagged as well, don't wanna guess at the last time they were changed! Idle and startup is noticeably smoother now just by replacing em. Will polish the alternator up when it arrives and will get some before and after pics then. I will get round to giving it a going over with the rotary before the end of the month........hopefully!  :grin:

Tell me about it! I've had to resort to doing jobs whilst the missus is at work otherwise it's constant nagging that the house is more important! Meh, I'd spend more time in the car than the house if I could!  :grin:

It runs fine, just doesn't charge properly. Battery has been on since Sunday, but it's just starting to struggle to start. Just taken it out to charge actually as won't be needing it until tomorrow now. Alternator has been paid for, but still awaiting delivery. Will give it a rub down and polish before it goes on too.  :smiley: Also finally got round to changing the drivers wing today;

Before

During

After

Trim is also back on now on the wing, there are a few scratches on the new wing from storage, bit still much much better than the original. This also highlights how filthy the car is at the mo!  :grin: updates when alternator, battery terminals, and exhaust coupler arrive, or when I start detailing if the weather is good and the missus is at work!  :laugh:
