Nice little drive back through Dartmoor too, some great twisties with hills and camber and allsorts! until the village with 100 speed bumps in 20 yards!
I'm not too low so I was fine, but it was funny watching most crabbing over and sh!tting themselves.

Haha, it was a case of nicely paced and then grind to a halt as soon as the speed bumps appeared lol! I am reasonably low but I managed ok :)

Little update, just spent 2 full days detailing the car!   My back is in agony, my arms are killing me, and my forearms have friction burn where I've been using my knees as support!

I must admit though, I am pretty chuffed with the results!

First off a quick hoover and go over the interior with Autoglym vinyl and rubber , then a wash using 2 bucket and AG shampoo and conditioner. Clayed using DJ SN, and washed again. First off was a trial, using a Silverline Rotary, with 3M fast cut plus using a 3M yellow pad. Didn't achieve the required affect, so threw on a 3M green pad and went over the whole car. That was it for day 1, and I was feeling sore then. Paintwork was deffo rejuvinated, although due to it being a harsh combo, and me being a novice, the pad got clogged, polish dried out and it got very dusty, and Lots of marring was evident. Day 2 started off with another wash (2 bucket), and a complete go over again with 3M Ultrafina, and a 3M green pad. If I wasn't in agony, I may have gone over it one more time with the same combination, as although I'm extremely happy with the outcome, there are some very minor swirls still present. Finished off with 2 coats of CG Jetseal 109, and 2 coats of CG Petes 53 paste wax. Dressing of textured plastic using AG Bumpercare, tyres using Turtle Wax Wet n Black. No glass cleaner or metal polish yet, and wheels will be removed soon for a good going over with iron-x, and possibly a new (summer) set going on if I can find something to suit in my price range.
Also put on some cheap tint film on the rears, no entirely sure though.....................

Pics.

Looking good Sean! A mate of mine bought a Corrado KR the other day and let me have a little razz in it! I must say, I do love the 16v engines! I see you also have the same scrape marks on the sunroof as he does, it must be a common fault I guess!

, yes the runners go and they scrape and stop sliding, its very common. Will sort it eventually as the sunroof works fine. Its obviously from a previous failure. On the lookout for some rims possibly.........
