Need HELP before i go mad AGG engine

need some help iv got mk3 golf 2.0L 8V AGG engine iv put in to a mk2 jetta iv got it to run but it idle rely lumpy and won't rev up with out feathering the throttle it just dies when i try to open it full when i unplug the AFM it idle fine but still won't rev up iv changed the AFM and still no change and when i leave it running on idle and when it get warm it cut's out and won't start until it cools down can any one HELP me please

O yeah i for got i but it up on there thanks the Top breather is all spongy so i clean that out and see if it help and i'v check for air leaks and can't find any iv not done the time on it because it was running ok in the donor car before we took it out

Is the dizzy on the right way round? and are the leads from dizzy to plugs in the right order??

yeah the dizzy is on right and the plugs are in the right order iv clean out the breather pip and it still doing the same thing :(

Have a search in the mk3 section. Gets asked alot, and there are loads of possibles tbh.

Could it be the choke stuck shut? I had that problem on a fiesta that I done an engine swap on, me and my dad spent ages trying to find the problem, in the end we gave up towed it to a garage and left it with them to be called less than 10 minutes later saying it was sorted.

Current cars 1995 Golf gti colour concept 2.0 8v 156,000 miles. bmw 316 1.9 129,000. yeah, life's good! :rolleyes:
