Hi,The input sharft on the 16v box is bigger so you would need to fit the 16v clutch

gambit, mine crunched in 2nd when cold, once warmed up its perfect is this a box rebuild or is there a simple fix?

Try draining it and refilling with Redline MTL, can apparently work wonders!

^^^^^ yeah Redline will help eliminate the scrunch but it wont fix your worn syncro.

When changing from 1st to 2nd i can feel crunching no matter how slow i change or what revs its at,all other gears are fine,do i just need to change the synchro ring or is there other parts as well, has anybody stripped there box and done this??I have not run it long enough to see if it goes when warmed up,bought it with a slipping clutch so problem did not arise till clutch was changed, other than that its a very tidy j reg black 3dr for £500 quid
