This will be the beginning of the imminent so called war with Iran. First Afghanistan and Iraq, now Iran.

Iran and the west have been at war for years, it will just step up to a new intensity.
We could have supported the uprisings a few years back but hey we had blown our credibility on Mr Hussiens 4 tanks of mass destruction....

But in reality its all just BS, playing games with one another with the only losers being more innocent civilians. The drone was more than likely meant to be captured for that very reason. This stuff bores me to death, just the same old cycle that goes on and on and on.

I would just like to mention something about all this.. Theres not a lot I can say for obvious reasons but:

1. Current UAV's have return to base if lose of connection to pilot

2. The cameras aint cameras, they are direct feeds and hold no information on the UAV.

3. The US have not answered to this yet...

4. Please don't compare Afghanistan with Iraq as they were/are two totally different conflicts..

Whats different about them?

Please tell me you are taking the piss...

Do you have a clue what is going on in Afghanistan? Why we entered the place? What British Troops are currently doing out here. Before you enter into this bullsh!t its for the oil/gas crap, think about this, we will be withdrawing in the next 3-4 years, how the hell are we going to find then build then control all this so called oil and gas..

Afghanistan we a conflict that was entered into after 9/11 for two reasons.. 1. To smash up the training camps and to try cause as much disruption to the regime as possible. After this had occured, which was within a 6 month period, we were invited by the Afghan President to help stabilise the corrupt government and help to develop the country as the Talib has quite a strong hold of Afghan politics etc.. the last 9 years have been spent developing various aspects of the country and now 95% of Afghans have access to first aid posts in their villages. British soldiers have died building schools and trying to provide stability in the local villages so that the locals can be educated.

Afghanistan is nothing like Iraq. I suggest you do some reading before making sweeping statements.
