Today's modification: gaffer tape to the glovebox lid to keep the stupid thing closed.

The mk3 glovebox catch seems to be a poor design and breaks on every mk3. It's only £10 to replace, but again, is it worth doing?

Bloody rabble suffers from condensation in the mornings though.

It's a boat, of course it's gonna have damp and therefore condensation.

Actually it nearly is, because even the gaffer tape lets it fall open fairly regularly.

Since I'm now using every day this issue seems to have resolved itself.

Bl00dy great MPG considering, I only get that when driving by the book on a long motorway run in a far more refined vehicle.

I know you've not had it long but what's like with oil? consume much?
