*slightly* off-piste this afternoon.
Closed road?
No problem.
But the ditry b*stards doing the work had heaped up scalpings to stop cunning stunts such as myself continuing to use the road, so I doubled back through and snuck across to another route via some dirt tracks:
This is why the car will NOT be lowered.
I did manage to lose half the front valance (again!), so cut back from the workshop I was visiting and picked up the lost part, which was exactly where I was expecting it - I had to back up over a fallen tree at one point - it had claimed the front valance on the way out and I hadn't noticed.
Dirt-track rallying went well aside from that.
Seems every G3 GTI I see with some seats in it has significant fungal bloom on the seats, so I'm still in the Chiropracter Later seats.
I did manage to pick up the boot side trims and a (broken) parcel shelf for a tenner at a scrapyard this morning, so it's now quieter inside and the cr@p I leave in the boot will remain my business, not everyone else's.
Stereo swap tomorrow, maybe.
