Gotta love working with lathe operators

Had an adaptor made up for me at work today, the one I had was made of three different parts (left hand side) and was too tall for under the inlet manifold, half hour after I was given the new one (right hand side)

Nice one I was never that good on the lathe's at school and we usually ended up ruining each others projects

what kit do you have? I used to run a toolroom with Mikrom VMC'c and Cincinnati lathes + Soddick EDM.
I really miss the workshop my cars always benefitted from it 

New job is cool though, I am in Germany and Switzerland all next week playing nursey to yank from a global corp

Dunno what we've got at work, I'll ask on Monday. All I know is they haven't got much on at the mo so little home jobs like this get done

It's all about having access to lathes, I've already made up some pimp stainless lock buttons and little bits for my mk3 ^_^

I run a Hyundai HiT28, a Mazak QT28 and a Mazak QT1, we got an ancient Capston manual lathe too which uses about a gallon of hydraulic oil evertime we use it but its still fun 
Made my wheel spacers at work, done a design for an alu gearknob which I might get done at some point if we weren't so fecking busy
