Can you boost the wifi signal from a Bt home Hub 3

My 'BT home Hub 3' is installed and connected to my PC within my Study. My Study is located in a converted garage which is extenal to my house.

When connecting to my laptop in the house the wifi signal is generally on half strenght and works fine within the downstairs lounge and kitchen (which are in the close proximity to the external garage/study).

However at the rear of my house or upstairs furthest away from the hub I can't connect to wifi as the signal is obviously to low. Therefore my question is, is there a device out there to boost the wifi signal between the external garage and the house?
