Not being used to being drunk doesn't excuse poor behaviour. It shows they weren't able to judge their drinking or control their emotions/thoughts.

Have to admit don't know what I'd do if it were my girlfriend.

I suppose try and trip them up/hold them back and run but if they managed to start kicking her in the head I think I'd give them a jolly large smack back.

Although it wasn't me in that situation, so I don't know what it's like.

Anyone else think they wouldn't really care about "the law" though, if you're gf/wife is getting potentially kicked to death? I wouldn't be thinking "oh no I might get arrested" screw that.
