Will I need to buy DAB for vag?

When tvs move to digital and radio aswell will I need to buy a new dab radio for car?

I wanted a double din for Xmas but will it work in a few months time when it all stops?

TV's have already moved to digital.

I can't see them getting rid of FM for a long time yet, DAB had been a bit of a flop so far IMO.

if it did i cant see it being for a while yet otherwise most new cars would start coming with dab as standard

i thought they were this year or next? sure i read it somewhere :undecided:


edit: just google and looks like wont be until 2013/14/15 which is good  :smiley:

double din is back on the xmas list  :grin:

Cool, because I think there's only like Newcastle and Northen Ireland left to switch over as far as digital TV is concerned.

South coast switches off analogue March-June next year.

Analogue radio's not going to be switched off for a long time.
