« on: 05 December 2011, 19:15 »
Think i might of herd about this before, cant remember if it was on here or not..

Quote
Mobile phones giant Orange is being bombarded with complaints about its 4.3 per cent price increase announced last week, which will hit eight million customers.
The news was delivered in a chirpy text message, below, which also sparked anger.
The increase will apply from January 8 and affects only those on ‘fixed’ pay-monthly plans. A clause hidden in the small print on contracts allows the operator to raise charges by up to the rate of inflation.

I got the text too, they aren't breaching terms of contract so you have to pay. Read the link in the text, it explains all.

TBH most of the people I've known have switched there plans, and it works out cheaper in the longer contracts to just get the cheapest sim card and buy a phone out right.
Sticking with the one company does not pay anymore at all! unless you are tied in!

Orange did this to me with broadband after aquiring Wanadoopoo! It doubled over night so I said bye!

I switched to O2 because there customer service number is 0800 Orange the fu*kers used to be like 0845! Its like they enjoyed problems so you got charged  :lipsrsealed:
9MB I started with now they put there prices up and only get 4MB through the exchange so I'm moving now also.
My mobile is Vodafone and been with them for over 17 years it used to be £8 for 300 mins as times gone on Because I stayed with them it costs me £25 but I get unlimited text, unlimited web browsing, 1000 minutes landline, 1000 minutes anytime mobile network. I had to kill someone for that, but you always reach a celling which is about after 10 years and Don't get anymore discount to speak about!
I hate how when your discounts are up i.e 12months you need to contact them before it runs out! Which is actually 9-10mths before it runs out otherwise it defaults back to normal tariff once I had to pay £110 because I wasn't aware  Fu*ck*ers the lot of them!
