I've got them as well - knew what they were so haven't been bothered to try and get them off yet. Yes I am lazy! :grin:

I'm sure I read on another forum that someone had got rid of theirs using toothpaste....probably made the car smell minty fresh as well. :laugh:

Please post back if anyone tries it. :smiley:

Sounds logical as toothpaste is an abrasive and can be used as a mild polisher.

I'd never be able to explain THAT 'cleaning routine' one away to the neighbours!

When one neighbour said to me "I don't know why you bother. It'll only get dirty again" for the umpteenth weekend in a row, I asked him if he'd wiped his arse that morning.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Sounds like one of those "what is the craziest thing we can get a forum member doing to their golf" ploy to me!

Anyone want to see if we can try it?  Maybe another Mk board? all in good festive spirit!

has anyone tried glass polish (not cleaner?)
