Halfords Pro Tool Boxes

I'm in need of some more tool storage, its my birthday next week so thinking about treating myself to these.



They seem like a good price, can anyone comment on the quality?

A mate has a trade card so maybe be able to get a bit more off too?

its worth asking how much with the trade card, their discounts are a bit random, but in general a sale item is the same price as with a trade card discount

the quality is ok for home diy, its no snap on but its not 25squillion pounds either

I had all them boxes. Quality is good, roller bearing draws which open fine with loads of heavy tools.
Only problems I had was the wheels are sh!t, which is all right if you're not moving the box. But mine bent inwards after two weeks.
And after time the locks keep messing up. You lock it and half the draws are still open.

Sold mine for £100 a couple months back.

I'm going to be filling it with Blue Point and Snap On that I have already, but I just can't justify spending Snap On money on the equivalent boxes!!!

weve just got one ofthose bluepoint iimpact guns, loads better than our old ones.

To be honest I haven't tried it yet, my airline has a split in it, I've got another end on order....

Get a second hand box of ebay. I got my Mac Tools one for a little more than the halfords one and it was like new (bar all the stickers)

That's exactly what I want, but can't seem to find anything that size for reasonable money...

That's the exact Halfords setup I'm looking at on the right isn't it?
