+1 for Osram Nightbreakers but unfortunately there are no replacements for DRL's yet (H15), and yes your dipped beam are H7.

This is mine (bottom of page) with Nightbreakers and Osram cool blue sidelights (w5w)

Hi,

I've got Philips +100% Extreme Vision ones, and highly recommend them. Nice crisp white light and more spread/depth; especially on kerb side.. I've also got their BlueVision sidelights (W5W) and they match the white of the headlights nicely. These W5Ws also work well in the interior lights.

Oh by the way; brace yourself for a patient swearing-full faff to get them in. It is possible without removing bumper, but not easy.
sssh; it's 'only a diesel'; but i love it!

MK6 GT140 TDi; DBP; Vancouvers; RNS510-D; Convenience pack; Storage pack; Philips Extreme Vision dipped bulbs; blue vision sidelights; red footwell lights; Yeti tips; GTD pedals; GTD gear lever; 'R' mats; RVC; Premium Bluetooth and some TLC.

I replaced mine wiht the Philips too - much better. Agree re the faff - prepare for scuffed fingers and hands

I replace my main beam H7's with Phillips blue vision ultra, they only give about 30% more light than standard, but give a great bright white light, by far the best ive seen, if its the look your after rather than light output. You also get free blue vision sidelight bulbs which are alot whiter than the standard ones.

I emailed OSRAM about an upgraded H15 high beam/DRL bulb but they have no plans to make one, so i  have turned off my DRL's cant stand the yellow ligth,

The better output H7 light bulbs still look abit yellow to me, whereas the phillips i brought are made to look xenon effect

The bulb coating is blue , but when lit they are white.

I did have some error free LED ones, but they really were to blue, but you can get som LED ones rated at 4000K which should match phillips blue vision ultra as they burn at 4000k, im going to try that next, but got to get some coding done as my DRL lights are comming on with everything at the moment even though i disabled the DRL's themselves. Something to do with when i fitted the rear LED's, so i have horrible DRL lights when main beam is on or just sidelights
