Cleaning engine? *with pics*
« on: 08 May 2005, 14:14 »
ive tried to clean my engine like i did in the corsa.... way too many wires kickin about to steam clean or jet wash it so i have to do it by hand...

before....

after....

i need to paint the fan housing cos its rusty as hell... and what can i do to my rocker cover cos the paints coming off..... but not sure what to do without taking it off?

ive used back to black on the hoses and air box etc,  not sure if its safe but it makes it look cleaner and shiny.....

and fairy liquid, a scourer and toothbrush to clean everywhere else

I'd advise using engine and machine clearer rather than fairy liquid though.
always wash a cold engine as a hot one drys the cleaner before it's done it's business.
