i think ill just take the keys back home to devon with me over christmas, im sure they will do it no problem at all

I assume they mean soft metal could dull there cutter or even melt on the cutting surface!
Just go to the back street people if they are still about they have older cutter machines that will do a better job.
 
cant you just buy a blade off them and get them to use that to cut a key....

Yeah but thats the whole point for likes of Timpsons they make money selling sh!t you don't want!
I'm fussy and only use VW blanks and take them to good old boys who have been doing it for years by eye!
Have you seen the training Timpsons staff get I'm guessing not alot!

yeah right, they offered to cut a key that they provide, but its a bit of a cheek after you have specifically bought VW blanks . . .

think they were just trying to get extra money out of me, and it was the busiest ive ever seen baths hight street yesterday
