Cars running lumpy
« on: 07 May 2005, 20:53 »
Wife just came home and says "cars running funny"
So i went out to check it out and its running lumpy as if its not firing on all cylinders, would this be a case of just changing the spark plugs ?
For the past 2-3 months it sometimes went like it when i went round a corner in a to higher gear but cleared up when i changed down then it would be fine
TIA

Just been to see my mechanic who i use and he reckons itll most probably be the HT leads so im getting him to change them aswell as doing a full service.
The front discs and pads also require changing and ive got a knocking noise from the front passenger side wheel. Also got a very slight oil leak whch needs sorting as im spending 4k on my driveway next month.
So in all im looking at spending 400 quid in total getting my Vr6 back up to scratch.

Ive sorted the problem by replacing the spark plugs which were absolutely shot and now it runs nice and smooth :)
