Got one myself at the minute, great cars!!

turbo it mate you will wet your pants mine hit 350bhp and was quite scary my mates got one at 550bhp out of a t16 turbo

klinger headgasket FTW it was only the k series that suffered not the t16 pushing 28psi boost and its still funning today lol

I used to see my fair share on here too! And I sold my mk4 with a blown head gasket and my mrs first polo - its MGR's that have the rep for it though

mate had one with a vts lump. ditched it. atleast his roll caged worked though

i miss my old m535i
it was crap, too slow for a 3.4, far too thirsty, all the gears in the wrong place and reverse where first should be

it loved a wee slide though!
